Powell's School in Cirencester, England is an Aided Church School, with a long and proud tradition. It's roots go back to 1714 in the funding of the Blue School for boys, followed in 1722 by the Yellow School for Girls. The amalgamation of the two in 1876 saw the foundation of Powell's School.
purpleplanet designed and built a site for the school in 2003 and it was decided that now was a good time to refresh the look and feel of the website and give the admin staff at Powell's more responsibilty for the upkeep of their own internet presence. The new Powell's School website is fresh and clear, and incorporates the school's traditional colours of blue and yellow.
